Take a break from the weather and visit the newest art show at White River Gardens from February 2 through May 6. The artwork of Bloomington-based artist Tara J. Fuller will be featured in the Schaefer Rotunda entrance to the Gardens, which is open free to the public.* Her stunning animal portraits are among the paintings in the show, including some like the lowland gorilla pictured here.
Bloomington-based artist Tara J. Fuller finds her greatest joy in painting animals. Raised in Brooklyn, New York, Tara found her true calling when she moved to the Indiana countryside where she was inspired by the natural world. Working primarily in alkyd oil, Tara works hard to capture the essence of living creatures successfully on canvas with a style that embraces striking realism. Specializing in commissions, Tara J. Fuller paints both wildlife and pet portraits for clients nationwide. Her work has been featured in six one-woman shows, as well as in many juried shows, including Eagle Creek Park’s prestigious Celebration of Nature. Tara is an art instructor at the Lawrence County Art Association and Gallery. She also contributes to fundraising efforts for the Exotic Feline Rescue Center in Center Point, Indiana.
