The Cathedral Women (CW) will host the 42nd annual Strawberry Festival on Monument Circle Thursday, June 14, 2007. The Strawberry Festival takes place in front of Christ Church Cathedral on Monument Circle in Downtown Indianapolis.

The popular event utilizes more than 50 volunteers and serves an estimated six tons of strawberries and 18,000 homemade shortcakes. All proceeds from this fundraiser go to community outreach programs at the local, state, national and international levels.

• Single servings of:
  Strawberries   $2
  Ice Cream       $2
  Shortcake        $2
• Serving for large orders and carryout orders begins at 8:30 a.m.
• Serving on Monument Circle is from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• People may pre-pay for tickets for their company or staff by mailing or dropping off checks to the church office (55 Monument Circle, Suite 600) by Monday, June 4. The minimum ticket order is 20 tickets, and they are only available for “The Works” at $6 each. Checks can be made payable to “Cathedral Women” for the desired number of tickets X $6. The printed tickets can be picked up the week of June 10.
