Christ Church Cathedral Strawberry Festival on Monument Circle – June 12, 2008

This is such a fun event. Everyone loves Strawberry Shortcake and eating it at Monument Circle is truly entertaining.

The Cathedral Women will host the 43rd Annual Strawberry Festival on Monument Circle Thursday, June 12, 2008. The Strawberry Festival takes place in front of Christ Church Cathedral on Monument Circle in Downtown Indianapolis.

The popular event utilizes more than 300 volunteers and serves an estimated six tons of strawberries and 18,000 homemade shortcakes. All proceeds from this fundraiser go to community outreach programs at the local, state, national and international levels. 

More than 95 percent of the Strawberry Festival proceeds goes directly to local, national and international not-for-profit groups
