Gate Admission: $8, children 5 & under are free
Free parking, when available

Discount Tickets can be purchased for $7 at the following locations: all Indiana Wal-Mart stores, CVS/pharmacies, Indiana Farm Bureau offices, The Marten House Hotel and the Indiana State Fair Box office.

Discount tickets will be available beginning July 15 through August 8.

The public is invited to attend one of the premier events in women?s amateur golf?and admission is Free!

The U.S. Women?s Amateur Championship marks the beginning of women?s competitive golf in this country.  And today?s impressive field of women amateurs continues the tradition of highly charged aggressive golf.  Crooked Stick Golf Club will be the stage for a full week of incredible play.

Play begins on Monday, August 6th with all 156 players for two days of stroke qualifying rounds.  By Wednesday, the field will be cut to 64 players who will play 32 matches.  On Thursday there will be 16 matches in the morning and the remaining 16 players will play 8 matches that afternoon.  Friday will be the date of the four quarterfinal matches.  The semifinal matches will be held on Saturday.

Don?t miss witnessing the crowning of the new champion on the final day of competition, Sunday August 12th, when the remaining two players will meet for the final 36?hole championship match for the title and the coveted Robert Cox Trophy.

Indianapolis always has such a great time during the week of the Indiana Black Expo event. This event truly is a one of a kind in the nation kind of affair.

Indianapolis is such a great city to visit. Lots of hotels close to whatever you are doing. Make sure you visit The Childrens Museum of Indianapolis and The Indianapolis Zoo. No visit to Indy is complete with a stop at those two attractions.

Black Expo runs concurrent to the Devour Downtown event, visit participating restaurants for a great meal and a great deal.

For the second year we have the same great location. We can easily be found directly behind Broad Ripple High school which is located on the southeast corner of Broad Ripple Ave and Compton Ave. The parking lot is located just behind (south of) the school. This location provides ample and convenient parking and is easily accessed. We are open every Saturday through October 24 from 8am – 12pm.

July 4th Family Celebration at the Indianapolis Propylaeum Club at 6PM.

The historic Propylaeum mansion is located in the Old Northside neighborhood near other historic structures (President Benjamin Harrison Home, Morris-Butler Museum and a bed & breakfast).

Patriotic ceremonies, entertainment, children?s games and flag parade. Buffet will be available for fee. Entertainment includes Jim McMahon and “Klem the Klown.”

Cost: $5, over 18; free, 18 and under with adult

This event should have a great view of the Freedom Blast Fireworks Downtown. This location is approx 1 mile north of One Indiana Square.

Shot off from atop the Regions Bank Building (One Indiana Square) the Regions Bank “Freedom Blast” is the largest fireworks display in Indiana. The downtown sky will light up starting at 9:45 p.m.  Attendees are encouraged to bring their radios and tune to WFBQ, 94.7 FM, for a synchronized concert of patriotic and popular music.

The Best Views are from the Parks along Meridian Street, but these magnificent fireworks can be seen for many miles.

Indiana Black Expo Summer Celebration is now the largest African-American event in the nation, with over 300,000 people in attendance. The myriad of programs and events stretches over an 11-day period and includes business workshops, health and wellness, employment opportunities, spiritual enrichment, exhibits, youth activities and entertainment. Local and national celebrities along with individuals, families and members of the corporate community all join in celebration of African-American heritage and culture. Summer Celebration is the signature fund raiser for the nonprofit community organization Indiana Black Expo, Inc. and its? year-round youth and family programs.
